Teachers Teachings!

Turning over the nostalgic leaves, remembering the antics we played during our young days. Flipping over the pages of mimicry and jokes that we so easily passed on our teachers then.

It�s teachers day again, and am sure our social media is going to be flooded with messages for teachers. Some even mimicking teachers day to a well known liquor drink, hic sic. This year however is different. Teachers day arrives with one of the most revered and favourite God, Ganapati. What a solemn occasion to celebrate! God and Teachers. Apart from their habits and vocals styles one always remembered the text books they referred to. Books which are indispensable with teachers.

Books which are revered as works of art and faith. Whichever faith we belong to, we have one. For Hindus have the Ramayana, Mahabharata and Gita, Islam have Quran, Sikhs have the Grant Sahib and Christians, the Bible. Everyone has something to revere and refer. However, one thing that we havent learnt over the years, is to emphasise on KNOWLEDGE. We have coloured our knowledge and learnings with our own biases by blind faith and practices. While all our religions and faiths preach more or less the same message, somewhat like what our teachers taught us, without any prejudice! Wouldn�t it be befitting to reward them by spreading knowledge and its importance?

Knowledge which doesn�t suggest us to create divides and encourage biases. It should simply widen our THiiNKin horizon. Financial knowledge too comes next to none. While it may not have too many do�s and don�ts , it definately has a lot of learnings for each one of us. Ignorance is bliss: NO MORE!

We absorbed whatever our teachers threw at us. Some relevant and few irrelevant and although we all went through the grind, we ought to acknowledge the role of our teachers. As Ganu Bappa spread knowledge, teachers too do their bit by spreading their teachings of knowledge. Knowledge which unites us as one HUMAN RACE.

Happy Teachers Day! We will always owe a lot to you. The least we can THiiNK of is spreading FINANCIAL AWARENESS, sincerely and dedicatedly.
